Why was mongoose bat banned?

U.K. based bat manufacturing company, which manufactures mongoose bat (which have a large handle and smaller hitting surface), mongoose bat came to light when they signed Matthew Hayden in IPL 2010. When Matthew Hayden first used his mongoose in IPL against Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals) in which he smashed 93 of mere 43 deliveries.
The advantage of mongoose bat was it provided a lot more attacking power to the batsman then the regular ones, when compared to traditional bats which have a sweet spot which is generally middle of the bat once the ball hits sweet spot there’s no stopping it. But in case of mongoose bat whole bat was considered of sweet spot no matter where the ball gets hits it will be high ROI(return on investment) shot. the reason behind this was the handle of the bat was long and bottom of the bat was too heavy.
Due to having such advantages there were complaints lodged to MCC and BCCI but in return both the committee declared the bat legal to be used. But the bat became out of sight itself when In 2010 Indian cricketer Suresh Raina came up with the statement that mongoose is not viable of being used because of the bat having sweet spot all its playing surface even if a batsman defends a ball there are a lot of chances of a batsman being caught especially when one is playing against spinners. After this statement of Suresh Raina, most of the big players didn't paid much attention towards mongoose bat and after the retirement of Matthew Hayden, the mongoose bat was never seen in the international cricket. But the mongoose bat was never banned instead players were not interested in using it because of its disadvantages. However, the mongoose bat is considered one of the superior bat when it comes to Attacking
